We have seen 4 or 5 shows in this theater and it is always enjoyable. Both theaters are relatively small - which is a good thing. Never a bad seat for very good shows and very reasonably priced. While the theaters are both small you don't feel cramped and the seats are relatively comfortable. Can't wait for the next show

The theater is always a pleasure with easy access and great seating. This show was thought provoking and entertaining with 4 excellent actors. The Sunday matinee tickets were extremely reasonable.

My mom and I frequent the Long Wharf Theatre. As Hamden library card holders, we are able to reserve 2 free tickets to see shows. This has been great for us because we get to see shows we might not normally get to see. We have seen several shows-some great, some not so great. But for free, what more could... More

Been attending plays here on both Stages since 1968. So many have moved onto to Broadway. If you enjoy professional live theater this is for you. All genres are presented and the costuming and props are always impeccable and authentic. There are no bad seats and very few disappointments. A wonderful part of life in this area of Connecticut.

Another great show in this small theatre, every show is good, all good seats, cocktails & snacks, free parking. Good restaurants nearby, right off highway.

We both have hearing difficulties so really only enjoy musicals at Long Wharf. Dialogue is often lost.... Recently spent a delightful afternoon seeing "My Paris." Excellent. Don't worry about arriving a bit late at box office. Avoid the rush, especially at matinees.

Great performance in a small space. I was impressed at the large cast for the space. It was a lovely night out. The set and acting were both wonderful! I will attend another show in the future.

We saw, "The Lion", a one-man musical, which was fantastic: good storyline and great musicianship! We were in the smaller theater, which was quite nice: comfortable seats, raked seats for a clear view of the stage, good stage lighting and sound system. Overall great experience!

We enjoy small local theaters. We are fortunate that there are several within easy driving distance. We like theater in the round. All seats afford a good view of the stage. This theater has an industrial look on the outside and a modern minimalist interior. Every performance we have seen is very professional. Seating is more comfortable than it appears.... More

I have mixed emotions about this theater, primarily its seating arrangement. It is circular around the stage which makes complete stage props impractical. This arrangement is great for one-person shows. In addition, the acting is mixed; some excellent, some just fair. We had season tickets and were unhappy with the result. We will go there in the future only for... More
