Exhibit is small but interesting. You can mine for gems etc. but the best part are the hiking trails that range between .25-1.25 miles.

Dinosaur State Park is a great destination for family learning and fun. I had no idea that CT had such a history of dinosaur activity. We walked through the museum then we went out and hiked around the extensive trail network in the surrounding woods....More

We visited on the way through after passing by many times. The exhibit is rather unique in that the dinosaur tracks have not been moved. The dome and museum are built around the original site. The museum exhibits are a bit outdated in style, but...More

I didn't find much to do there. the make your own print is fun. but check their website for materials needed or fees. Not much to see inside building. Trails and butterfly garden are nice. this can be a quick trip or picnic activity.

Fabulous place for kids and adults to hike and experience dinosaur tracks. You have videos, short talks and furthermore option to make cast of dinosaur prints.. Bulls-eye among the kids. Average time spent around 2 hours.
