Short and sweet

Lovely little land tucked away in New England. Well kept sacred secret. Very small and quiet. Have to keep the tide changes in mind.

Nice place for a short visit if you live in the area. Went a couple times, once with a friend in the summer and again later by myself in the winter. It's kind of ugly in real life, but still a good spot for beach photos.

After years of benign neglect new areas of parking, kids play area, snack stand & toilets have "sprouted. In addition two covered " party" areas have emerged. Further a restaurant has opened adjacent to the nine hole golf course. A great place to pass a summer day, or rexac at sunset.

Stratford really stepped up their game here, turning this spot into a very impressive place to bring the family. The beaches are clean, with a food stand in the summer, pavilions, playgrounds, and not to mention a great 9 hole golf course!

This is a very clean, quiet beach. The long-island views are great and the people there was very friendly.

you will enjoy going to the beach and sharing the day with seagulls, people digging for worm, looking at oysters in 2feet deep water! Or just sitting and feeling the breeze while eating your lunch!

Crowded at times but a very nice facility with a lot to offer a family at any time of the year. Very well maintained for the past few years.

I love this beach, it is always well kept. Lots to do from tennis, volleyball, baseball to swimming, walking the beach, and sea shell picking.

This is a fun place for Stratford residents. Non-residents have access for a fee. The beach is along the Housatonic River where it meets the Long Island Sound. It's long and wide with nice sand, and calm water. Great place for picnics, cookouts, families with kids and couples. There is a concession to purchase beach food and there are restrooms... More

Beautiful beach with clean facilities, a concession stand, golf course, tennis courts, playground, pavilions for rent, etc... and now a restaurant at the beginning of the driveway. In the summer they have many different functions, in July they do Blues on the Beach... Multiple bands on the big stage, food trucks, etc..... the past 2 years over 20,000 people attended.... More
