This location will always be referred to me as the Nature Center now known as Earthplace. As a kid grew up around the corner so this was the go to place as well as walk the trails. Is still is a great place years later. The trails are still around and maintained and still a great place for kids.

Awsome place to visit, the trails are very well maintained, and for a small fee you get access to the inside. There is a plethora of information about the surrounding natural life with access to some wildlife inside. But the best part is the birds (sadly they recently put up a fence around them. So you have to pay to... More

I heard about this nature center when my son was small. When he got older, he volunteered and we saw the true marvel of this place. It is a nature and scientific research center. It has public areas and exhibits, most fun are the animals and birds(some huge) that they take care of and save/heal from injury. They are involved... More

Take your kids, take your friends to Westport's Earthplace! Nature walks, indoor exhibits, fun events. Get yourself an annual membership and keep going again and again, that's what most families do. Highly recommend!

This is an exceptional nature center with educational and just fun exhibits for all ages. The surrounding property is laced with hiking trails, through woods and fields, and near streams. The trails are mostly easy walking for young and old, and the scenery is beautiful.

This place is great to explore, learn, hike (easy trails!). Lots of classes & special events for children. Small "zoo" of rescued wildlife, interactive exhibits in the exhibition hall. Fun for anyone, alone or in a group, but especially good for families, children.

We bought a family membership and take our granddaughter regularly - wonderful little hidden gem. An annual membership is the way to go - very affordable and the kids and adults always have a great time. The rehabilitate wildlife which is awesome.

We book our granddaughters for overnight visits coordinated with the Earthplace childrens program. We love the staff on the reading day which is a book that is related to a real animal to be brought out. The facility is clean, easy to roam and the kids love it!

We took our grandchildren (ages 2-5) on a nature walk/scavenger hunt through Earthplace recently and what a surprise we all had. I've lived in Westport for 25 years, yet this was my first visit. The pastoral setting just off the Post Road is truly amazing. The little ones had a blast particularly when visiting the animals who are sheltered there... More

Fun and educational for the whole family. Another Westport institution. Go for specific programs or for a picnic lunch outside on the lawn.
