We stayed local and could see the bridge at night with all her lights shinning bright. We were able to walk underneath and check out the Indian River Inlet and the beaches. What a beautiful bridge and a marvel of technology. We are lucky to have it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this bridge. It is impressive and affords gorgeous views of the ocean and inlet. I would have enjoyed walking it; however, it was really windy when we passed through, both going and coming.

What an impressive bridge! It is fun to walk both under and over. You can watch people fish under the bridge as you walk by, and the views on top of the bridge are fantastic. We saw some porpoises or dolphins in the ocean, and watched the boaters and fisherman while crossing the bridge. Nice!

The last time I was at Indian River was a short drive down the two lane road from Rehoboth with our father to fish for flounder next to a small bridge. Seeing the huge span crossing the channelized inlet today was a pleasant shock. The area has been organized on both sides as a state park and recreation area with attractions and beach access. I was mesmerized watching the water flow at high tide into the inlet from the ocean guided by huge rock jetties.

This bridge was a real plus to traffic. Beautiful at night with it's blue lighting and great views of the inlet and ocean with its turbulent water. The old bridge is just snarled traffic memories!

On the east side of the bridge you can go on the beach and hang out. There is a sidewalk that goes from the east side of the bridge and extends all the way down quite a distance to the west and a great place to go fishing. This is a popular place during the summer months and a great place for taking pictures and it’s also nice at night when the bridge lights up in blue. Please bring your family as there is a restaurant adjacent to the bridge with good food and good music.

This bridge has beautiful beach and ocean views during the day and is a glamorously lit bridge at night.

This is a scenic location for an amazing bridge that shows off artistic design and intriguing engineering. It’s worth taking an exit near either end of the bridge to take a look at it.

It is beautiful at night. Worth taking a trip to visit. The scenic trip from Fenwick Island to the inlet was worth it.

Sunset views on the bridge was magnificent. Pay $5 (in state) or $10 (out of state) vehicle for parking the whole day. You can park on the south inlets and walk over the bridge. There is the "Big Chiller" restaurant and a wonderful place for paddleboarding and surfboarding area. On the north inlet, you will see RVs and marina. A bit confusing since there are 4 areas you can park and visit around the bridge. With a day parking permit, you have access to explore all 4 areas.
