I was in the area with limited time and had seen Mt Cuba Center listed as a "must see" in Delaware. The drive getting there was scenic and enjoyable. The grounds are amazing. All the staff I encountered were gracious and passionate about the gardens....More

Mount Cuba is the 600 acre estate of the DuPont and Copeland families, with an endowment to make its extensive gardens available to the public. The highly maintained site is great for gardeners, flower lovers, and picnickers.

It is a nice garden and they offer a tour of the small garden. The house is mainly offices and not interesting. If you are in the area is ok.

We visited at the height of the spring bloom, and everything was positively stunning! The plants are mostly native species, and the grounds are very nicely sculpted to include many different varieties. We took the tour with the master gardener and learned a lot about...More

This is a fabulous garden featuring native plants. Take a tour with a knowledgeable docent. We learned so much that we could apply to our home gardens. Do not miss this center, another spectacular gift to our area by the DuPont Family.
