My family loves going to this beach each year. We always find a new area to explore and also hit our favorite areas, like the main beach and the towers. $10 for the whole day is a great value for my family.

The State of Delaware has wonderful parks and this is exception. It was a $10 entrance fee each day for 2 adults and one dog and worth every penny. If you have a dog they are allowed on leash at Herring Point which is a...More

For $10 entrance fees, there really isn't a whole lot to do. The nature center is small, but inter sting. We toured the Fort Mills area. See my review.

The entrance has a sign claiming they are "America's best state park", coming off of a State park trip that took me to 8 beach state parks along the east coast- I can tell you this is far from being true. This park is very...More

Nice quiet beach for swimming, fishing, walking dogs, exercising!! The beach was not crowded when we were there which was really nice. Unfortunately, there is a lot of gravel in the surf so you need to be careful when coming out of the water.

We live in Annapolis, Maryland and it wasn't too far to go for a 4 night camping trip, about 1 1/2 hour drive. We had never camped here before but were very surprised by the sheer size of the park. In addition, we could bring...More

If You are looking at Delaware beaches, this one rates okay but not great. Waves break too close to shore for fun in the ocean but the water is wet and the sound of the surf is fine.
