City of Lewes closed beaches due to level of bacteria in the water from recent rains. This happens so often now and is a threat to the health of young children. Keep an eye on the city reports.

We were not planning to visit here, but, when we got closer we decided the weather was nice enough that we could enjoy the beach a bit. So glad we did. Beautiful weather for February!
