Go early in the summer, and apply bug spray, for a great walk along gravel paths and boardwalks over marshland.

This path is beautiful. It passes through marsh land and beach dunes. It is a 6 mile round trip bike ride that is partly covered by trees and well graveled.

I most often use the Gordon’s Pond trail for bike riding, but have done it on foot a couple times. It’s an absolutely beautiful area in all seasons, although it can get a little buggy in the high summer. The trail is clean, safe, and well-maintained. A road bike will work (when the trail is dry), but a bike with wide or knobby tires is ideal.
There’s easy access from the State Park lots in Rehoboth and Lewes, and if you hook up with the Junction and Breakwater trail, you can get some good miles in on a big loop!
Also, the Gordon’s Pond trail is a favorite bike ride of our President and the First Lady. They and their entourage often use the trail when they are in town. Kinda cool!

Lace up your sneakers and get walking. A nice walking trail with plenty of room for the bicycles to pass by you easily. Just remember to keep to the right.

Walked around the pond, plenty of parking, beautiful park. Benches were plentiful if you needed to rest.

This trail is amazing. It circles a pond and is far removed from the busy Rehoboth Beach. Be ready for a walk in the woods as most of the trail is wooded. There is a bridge that overlooks the pond as and gives views of two towers used to monitor for any potential German invasion during WWII. Very peaceful place to walk.

I came here with friends here last year and fell in love with this place. In 2020 mid-September, we decided to visit this place again. There were very few people on the beach and we can really spread out. We spent a good morning here.
We guessed that one of the reasons that there are few people around because we had to buy a beach pass for $10 per car. We gladly paid it since we know the fee serves as a deterrent for many people.

Gordon's pond is a state park that has a trail to Lewes. It's great for nature, exercising and just general social distancing!

I brought my daughter here as part of a long morning walk we were taking. She loved the lookout tower where she could see the water and the birds. It is a lovely and quiet place with tons of fellow walkers/runners/bikers.

Are there tire pumps?

There are manual ones, but they never seem to work. Better to bring your own! Same for tools - they have some but not usually the ones you need.
Are leashes dogs welcomed here?

I saw dogs everywhere....don't think its a problem....but there are a lot of runners and bikers, so you'd probably want to keep a close watch.
Are rest rooms provided?

Yes, there is a free rental in Cape Henlopen State Park! They appreciate a donation if you will but you can use the bikes for free. You can pick up the bike in Nature Center/ Interpretative center - they have the bike shed there. This is a great area to bike!

Can I bring my dogs on the beach and can they swim with us? Just wanted to know the dog rules and your address.

This should answer your question (and it is directly off of the Rehoboth beach laws website):
Dogs - It is illegal for dogs to run at large at any time. The City has both a leash law and a pooper scooper law which are enforced. Dogs are prohibited from the beach and boardwalk from May 1 through September 30, but are allowed on the beach in Dewey Beach (just south of the RB Boardwalk) before 9:30am and after 5:30pm. They must still be on a leash and have a Dewey Beach Dog License. Dogs are allowed in the state parks. You may want to visit Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes or Delaware Seashore State Park south of Dewey Beach.

Sunrise to sunset...the park rangers ride through the lot occasionally too. Make sure you're out before they lock the gates at sunset.
