Had a great experience on this beach seeing the Gulf for the first time! Got a little crowded as the day went on but still very enjoyable.

It is nice to have the option of walking under the tropical canopy or riding the tram to the beach. There was so much nature! We saw large crabs, sand dollars, and dolphins. The water was clear and the sky was beautiful.

We went here every day on our recent vacation. The beach itself is pretty uncrowded and quiet, with nice soft sand and shells aplenty for those who like to collect them. The water is mostly calm and was the perfect temperature so that you could...More

We parked right across the street in the free lot. I wish we had more time to spend at this beach. We found lots of shells, and the view was great. We were there at sunset, so I cannot attest to crowds during the day....More

Much of this beach is not used by many visitors. Two resorts in the area bring their guests here by boat. I think those folks can use the umbrellas and facilities there. Surprisingly the beach is still quiet. Sand is white. Water is shallow for...More

I loved it there, parking has restrooms and it is close; right across the paid parking lot there was another lot that had free parking, just needed to cross the Bonita beach road (near club Mediterra). There were not too many shells and algae, water...More

We were staying at a friend's condo and he mentioned that we could take a boat out to a private island that they shared with the Hyatt. We agreed to postpone our drive to Sanibel to try it out and it was so much better....More

I am not sure. I don't recall seeing any pets on the beach you may want to call the Hyatt hotel and ask.
