This is a very simple place and I loved it. The little museum is full of information and I learned so much about the Seminoles and Florida history. I had no clue that this State Park existed. I came across it when looking online for WWII information. My nephew and I attended for the WWII reenactment. We've been coming here for many years. It's a great historical site rich in stories and educational opportunities. They also hold events here with re enactments and displays. Even if you come on a regular day there is plenty to explore but make a long to come on a weekend where they are holding an event for the best opportunity... More

This place is one of those left out of history books in school.That you don't know about. It is very informative. Never knew that about the Indian history here. It was awesome to learn. Thanks Bushnell for sharing.God Bless.

This is a great place to spend Sunday afternoon with your family. It's a wonderful place to have a picnic educational and doesn't cost anything.

If you live in the area, you definitely want to get a copy of the Event Calendar for Dade Battlefield State Park. A variety of activities are available throughout the year; craft classes, nature studies, pioneer events, WWII reenactments,... The list goes on and on. Stopped here to GeoCache, was full of historical information. The area was just beautiful. Several GeoCaches hidden in the little park.
