We visited the park early in the morning so heat was not a factor. There is a guided tour of the butterfly garden, check the website or call for the exact time. The tour guide is not only extremely pleasant, but very knowledgeable. The nature center has a few turtles, frogs and snakes. The photos of the burrowing owls are... More

Wonderful park for bird watching, walking, picnicking, or just being with nature. Has a butterfly house at the start, then some nice trails. Can take a couple of trails out into the waterways (although this time we were here in the very dry season, thus, no water) Attracts quite a few bird watchers. Very nice park.

There is a really cool fire tower here that has been deemed unsafe - don't go on it - they really need to take it down or repair it. Plenty of walking trails, there is a playground for little kids, a butterfly exhibit and a nice place to sit and relax. Neat park.

We visited this park, not knowing what we would encounter. The park needs money spent on it as the tower is out of use and the whole park is run down. 90% of the ponds are dry (which I know they cannot help) but while we were in there we didn't see any maps to guide you round so we... More

We had a rental property a few blocks from this park and enjoyed a morning walk and or bike ride to the park every day. Nice dog park area, playground and exercise trail. We tried to visit the butterfly exhibit but when I asked, apparently someone who works there I was told very bluntly," NO" I also wanted very much to... We've been to Rotary Park for the Burrowing Owl Festival and decided to venture back to try the trails and visit the Butterfly House. The nice thing about the trails is that you have your choice of some paved trails and some more rugged areas. Another nice things is that there are clearly marked areas where you can take your... This was a wonderful show! It was all decorated like the islands, the food was all home made by the dancers, the costumes were lovely, and the dancing was amazing! This is a must see show! The food was delicious, and the dancers were very talented. I loved how they had different costumes for each of the respective islands that... More

My husband and I walked from the Westin hotel to the park on a nice sunny morning and then took the boardwalk to the end - it was really a nice walk. Went to the end and then back to the tower that overlooks the area - that was really exciting! The view was great, but what really got my... More

We were in Cape Coral and got a chance to go to the Burrowing Owl Festival at Rotary Park. The owls were great along with information about other animals.
