A beautiful, shaded walk along a 1.4 mile board walk loop through a mangrove wetland on the bank of the river. Easy access and plenty of parking. The total shade from the mangroves makes this walkable even in the Summer season.

What a great place to get out and enjoy the peace of nature at its finest. Just reopened after Hurricane Irma and the water level was pretty high. Great photo opportunities and all sorts of birds.

My husband and I visited shortly after hurricane Irma and the majority of the trail was closed. The area that was open was nice but we look forward to going back when we can walk the entire park!

A very nice preserve to take a walk through...My only complaint is the paths not marked to direct you to exit...I was actually lost for 30 minutes trying to exit park...

According to the Four Mile Cove website, dogs are not allowed. The entire trail is a wooden board walk and there is wildlife there so that may be why they do not allow dogs.
