I am a bit hesitant to review Carrabelle Beach because I don't want to be the person who lets the cat out of the bag. This beach is a very well-kept secret. There isn't a lot of parking and you might need to walk a...More

I gave this two stars instead of one because the beach itself is beautiful and clean, the gulf leads to soft white sand, to dunes full of natural beach plants, then to the yuck. The restroom and picnic areas here have that distinctly ugly feel...More

Between Lanark and Carrabelle is the new Island View Park which replaces the Island View Hotel destroyed in hurricane Dennis. It received minor damage from Michael but has a dock and boat launch for small vessels.

When you drive past Carrabelle Beach, it can be one of those places you're not sure you want to stop at, but please do. The beach isn't super big, but it's a very nice beach and it has nice pavilions for picnicking. We have driven...More

This beach was a bit disappointing. The sand was black and brown, the water murky, and the birds a nuisance. I liked that there were covered picnic tables with trash cans. Just drive the 20 minutes to St. George Island if you are wanting a...More

Even though a light rain fell on the day of our visit, it was a great time for our 4-legged friends and ourselves. The change room with its outdoor shower was nice. The covered picnic benches weree perfect for a day like ours, or any...More

Laid back town with an open to the public and pups. Perfect water for paddle boarding....you may even spot a black bear swimming over to Dog Island!

This is a very nice local beach with parking and picnic tables. It's right along 98 and they seem to keep it very clean.

Beautiful beach that actually captures sunrise. Dog friendly. Feels like a private beach. No shells. Frequent rip tides. But gorgeous.

Beautiful, natural white sand beach without the crowds. No high rise buildings, no vendors, no bars on the beach. Staying at the RV Park with beach access. There’s a cute little state park with clean bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and little pavilions with picnic tables,...More
