Very Helpful

This was our first time visiting so we stopped to get ideas. The lady was very helpful and showed us some great places to visit during our short stay.

We stopped in to see what the town had to offer. The lady we spoke to was very helpful. She took her time and explained everything about Cedar Key and when she found out we were from out of town she even gave us a map and directions.

Most times when I stopped by it wasn't even open. When I finally gained entrance, the lady on duty told me to go to the quilt shop next door for more information about freshly harvested seafood. Hmm ! For a town that's supposed to be known for it - a pretty bad response...

A stop at the visitors center will have ready information about Cedar Key available. Besides the available pamphlets the volunteer is very willing to answer any questions.

What a mess, I stopped in to get some information, good luck a disorganized mess. It is obvious they can not be consistent or keep professional help. Seems as if that is the rule in this town. A nice place to visit if you lower your expectations. What happened to Mary? She was a bright light in the Chamber. We... More

Going to the Chamber of Commerce first will enhance your visit and answer any questions you might have. This is a very old Florida City on the Gulf side. It is small and low key, dog friendly, and offers a great insight to Florida's history and development. If you like wildlife you will find plenty to look at as their... More
