Came to see Winter

It was really cool to see Winter from 'A Dolphin Tale'. Kids absolutely loved this. Great place for animals that need to be rehabilitated or can't be returned to the wild.

My husband and I were very excited to take our one year old daughter here being she loves aquariums and dolphins, but we were very disappointed. The cost of the aquarium was around $20 an adult and it took us maybe and hour to see everything. We had hoped to see the dolphins a little more and closer up but... More

Our family took a special trip to the west coast for our daughter's birthday to see Winter. The staff was very friendly and welcoming the entire time. We enjoyed every moment we were there! Daughter said this was the best birthday ever! Can't wait to visit again soon!

My daughter is a huge dolphin fan and loves Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2. I finally was able to take her to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium after her asking for many years. I signed her up for the Trainer for a Day program. It was pricy but well worth it. She spent 3 hours learning about, feeding, and training... More

We brought out 3 year old who is a HUGE fan of the dolphin tale movies. This place is a bit smaller than the movies would make you think but still just an amazing! Our family members paid to have a picture taken with one of the dolphins which for us was Nicholas. It was a cool experience! One person... More

We truly enjoyed our visit at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It was heart warming to see all the work that goes into helping to improve the quality of life of our sick and injured marine life. Thank you for all you do! I noticed some reviews stated the upkeep of the property was lacking. I disagree and I would like... More

I travelled to CMA with my wife in January 2017. We are from the Toronto, Ontario area and we wanted to get away from the snow for a few days. Since her birthday fell on one of the day's we were in Florida, I wanted to surprise her with a trip to the CMA, as we both really enjoyed both... More

Visited on a weekday. You only get to see animals by their choice on whether they come out or not. Listened to a trainer talk about how after she was done with her presentation, nicholas would perform. Sadly the trainers were fighting so no one performed. For the price it is very disappointing.

We're sorry to see that your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium was not quite what you expected. We are a marine animal hospital, focusing on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; the only resident animals that we have are those who have been deemed non-releasable by the government, as they lack critical survival skills. In those events, it... More

What started out as an effort to rescue and rehabilitate injured and abandoned animals has grown into a great educational tourist site as well - thanks to celebrities like the dolphins Winter and Hope. It was great to meet the real animals behind the movies Dolphin Tale 1 & 2. The residents of the aquarium are always changing so I... More

The kids were real disappointed with the visit. They were expecting to see winter up close and only saw from a distance in a tank 30 feet away. The cost to enter was high considering all you could do was watch a born behind glass and a couple turtles and dolphins in a tank. Not sure if we missed a... More

We're sorry to see that your little ones had a tough time viewing our dolphins. Winter and Hope share the Winter Zone pool, which is composed of a large pool up front and two pools in the back. Often throughout the day, the gates to all of these pools are left open, to allow the girls to choose their pool... More
