The Sheraton Hotel to the south, Clearwater Pass and a rock jetty to the north, The Sand Key Bridge over Clearwater Pass is a very popular fitness walk. The Beach is usually cleaned and groomed most mornings. Parking can get problematic as parking spaces get...More

This county park is across from hustling, bustling Clearwater Beach, and while the sand isn't quite as powdery white, it's still a great experience. Both times we were there the parking was ample and the beach not crowded. The swimming area is clearly marked and...More

We were staying at a resort with a very small beach and could see Sand Key Park from our room. We drove over and spent a few hours. It was not crowded at all and was very clean. The water is crystal clear and the...More

Went to the beach today and it was spectacular. Unspoiled and not crowded. No fancy food must warm water for May, a clean beach and a decent changing area. I want t go back for a sunset. No shade.

As a local, this has been my very favorite beach for the entire 11 years I have lived here. I'll tell you why: it's a very family friendly beach, and although there are hotels set far back from the beach for you to walk to...More

Gorgeous, serene, not crowded and sand I didn’t need a chair to sit in. Some reviewers said the sand was course but I didn’t experience anything but powder soft sand and shells on the beach. Great bathroom facilities and shower. Come with what you need....More

Very nice beach area in a less crowded part of the city. Sand is a little less soft than Clearwater Beach. Parking is much easier and only $5. It’s just over the bridge from the south end of Clearwater Beach

If you go to Pinellas County Sand Key Park, they have plenty of information. I suggest you could call the park office and ask to get current rates. Also ask about the hours for rest rooms. They changed them a couple years... More
