The park seemed nice enough, but we were there to enjoy the beach. Unfortunately this is where the hotel shuttle dropped us, and I found the beach to be nasty, rocky, and small. The water isn't clear and there are no waves.

This beach is convenient and usually there are plenty of parking spaces there. It's away from the crowded main beach area and you can have a very peaceful beach experience there. Beautiful sunsets too.

There are shells galore here, but the sand does not seem quite as fine as it is in Clearwater. There is a decent bathhouse and bathroom whixh is vert handy.

First time we have seen rows of small shells just lying on the beach at low tide. There is a guy who sets up chairs with umbrellas so you can relax while your spouse looks for shells. Very nice

When I was there it was cash only. There are usually plenty, but I recommend arriving early if you want a specific location.
