My husband and I went for a picnic which we had in one of the picnic shelters. There were BBQs also. We enjoyed listening to the birds singing while enjoying our lunch. There were stables for about twenty beautiful horses that you can ride. The horses are also used for a therapeutic riding program. There was a playground and a... More

Land donated to the County preserved an oasis of green in the middle of the urban sprawl. The original landowners specified that the land be preserved as a park, and that it would always have horses. There are picnic pavilions you can reserve and on any given weekend you will see happy families celebrating events with balloons and blow up... More

This place is great ... hands down ... over 600 acres! Kids can go on pony rides, model steam train rides, play on the playgrounds or visit the education farm just to name a few. Adults can go on horseback rides, enjoy the warm beautiful south Florida weather by fishing on the lake, and having a picnic with the family... More

We went here to view the light display. It's drive-thru viewing. It's $15 for a car and $3 for 3 pairs of glasses which allow you to see the lights as snow men, stars or snow flakes; depending on which pair you are wearing. Hopefully, if they do it again they will add more lights because there were several trees and... More

So much to do here! From taking a ride on the mini-train, pony rides, and picnic pavilions for your party needs! It's a great place to take kids, especially if you are on a budget! Enjoy!

I drove 30 minutes for 10 minutes of widely separate lights. Honestly the only reason it was 10 minutes was because of traffic. It's really outdated. They need to fill all the empty spaces that have no lights if they want to charge $15. The most they should charge is $5. I would not recommend going to this you are... More

Tradewinds park is without a doubt the most spacious park in the area. There are wide open areas of green fields, areas for sports, playgrounds, beautiful lake for boating and fishing, miles of jogging and nature trails, as well as a woodland boardwalk trail. The park is so massive it is split in 2 by Sample Road. The North side... More

If you are going to a picnic or a BBQ, then yes pay the parking and have fun and use their grounds and facilities but other then that not much to enjoy. Didn't like the butterfly world attraction with it either.

This is an excellent local park. Lots of areas to run or walk, play frisbee and just hang out. There are baseball fields, and a number of bathrooms and parking, along with picnic shelters and playgrounds. Butterfly World is located within the park, and there are also horse stables within the park area. A lot of 5k's and 10k's are... More
