I absolutely love this park. If you are trying to go on a short nature trail, this is your place. It is a great place to allow yourself to disconnect from the busy city for a little while. I LOVE their "amphitheater" and plan to have my wedding ceremony there next year; the covered outside seating has such a beautiful... More

I've heard about Fern Forest and it was on my to-do list. A co-coworker texted me that they were having their native plant sale this past Saturday so the boyfriend and I decided to visit in the late afternoon. We missed the sale and it was raining but we decided to pop into the nature center and ended up walking... More

We got lucky...took the family there on a Sunday to picnic, walk, etc....and SURPRISE...there was a Bluegrass Music thing going on. These guys were fantastic and what an addition to an already wonderful family day...can't wait to do it again.

Drive by it all the time and finally got to enjoy. We travel all over the country to hike and just found this beautiful gem in our backyard. Quiet and beautiful. Exceptionally well kept and untouched. Great day in the park

We enjoyed a late morning walk through Fern Forest Park. Lots of plants in bloom and we identified all of the ferns on their list. The shade was lovely!!

Who Knew!!! Till I read a paragraph in a book I gifted to someone on the History of Broward County I had no clue that this 243 plus acre forest was right in our backyard! This place is a MUST if you are a outdoor lover and enjoy breathing in all Mother Nature has to offer. There is an information... More

We were looking for someplace to take an exercise level walk. We noticed Fern Forest one day riding by so decided to give it a try. While it's really not what we were looking for exercise wise it was a very nice walk into a neat little nature preserve. We got lucky as there were only a few insects that... More
