The pool was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, where much of the original coral rock was used to border and further accentuate the pool. The 820,000 gallon pool is feed from an underground aquifer. We had a great visit. Really enjoyed the...More

The Venetian Pool is a wonderful place to transport yourself in time to one of the spectacular attractions in the city Beautiful of Coral Gables. The water is on the cold side. But your body adjusts quickly to the water temperature. It’s a place to...More

This place is awesome! One bad thing you can’t take small children due to something with the water. Which is understandable! But it’s an experience

Great larger pool set up as a smaller hand made lake in natural surroundings. Worth a visit, but it is costly if besides its entrance fee you plan on having food and drinks there. The activity is limited to sitting or having a swim at...More

Excellent swimming pool for adults and kids. Admission prices were $15 per adult and less (I forget how much) for kids. Seems steep, but there are lifeguards and amenities to pay for. We went in late February and there was no wait to get in...More

We only learned of the Venetian pool this year despite many visits to Miami. It is in a magical setting in a scenic Coral Gables neighborhood. The huge pool looks like a lagoon in Venice. The spring water is cool and crystal clear and surrounded...More

This is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. The water is not heated so it is mildly refreshing to say the least. However, on a hot summer afternoon, it is the best way to cool off. Lay out on the beautiful lawns and get...More

Great place to take the kids. Be forewarned. The water is usually freezing. It's definitely an experience you want to try. The waterfall is great as are the caves.

My parents went there as children, and enjoyed as cool swim on a hot Summer day. It was closed recently for renovations and cooler temperatures. Uniquely, the water is replaced daily, avoiding chlorination.

They're open until 6:30 on that day. It's a hard call. If it is really hot, many would have already left for the day. Most people go there in the early afternoon.
