We visited here on beautiful South Florida day, the admission to the pool was $14 per person, well worth the visit. Huge pools for both adult and children as well as a kiddie pool. We enjoy the mini waterfall and spent a good amount of time relaxing on the pool chairs provided. Not much to do but sit back and... More

Cool place to take the family. Former 1920's rock quarry turned into very large pool with interesting and ornate Venetian architecture. Kids love going into caves and pools.

This place is great if you live in the area but given that there's an extra fee/ higher entrance rate for not being from the neighborhood, it may not be worth to choose it over a normal beach/ pool day somewhere else.

I came down to Coral Gables to visit my parents after my IRONMAN RACE in Haines city. Decided to relax and recover at Venetian pool. It was the perfect temperature to take a short swim to workout all my tight muscles. The water fall did wonders on my tense neck as I let the water massage my neck and back... More

Got a decent peek at this. It was great to see it without people there but did not get a full sense of its wonder. So glad to see they have renovated it to keep it functional. Truly lovely!

When in Coral Gables, you must check out Venetian Pool. The pool was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, where much of the original coral rock was used to border and further accentuate the pool. It also features two large historic lookout towers, with a view of Coral Gables, The City Beautiful. The 820K gallon pool is fed... More

The pool was created in 1923-24 from a coral rock quarry, where much of the original coral rock was used to border and accentuate the pool. It was part of the Grand Plan George Merrick had for the City of Coral Gables. I started going as a teenager and went back with my children years later. It is always a... More

We were in Miami/Coral Gables and killing a little time while waiting for a dinner reservation at the Biltmore. The Miracle Mile was packed so we went by the Venetian Pool. Really cool but a little expensive if you just want to walk around for a bit. That being said, it is quite the experience and I recommend it to... More

What would Coral Gables be without The Venitian Pool? First, when Mr. Merritt (founder and developer of Coral Gables) idealized the neighborhood in his mind, he had real Florida Coral driven in from Key West, and undoubtedly, it gives you the sensation of being on a natural reef. Its vast extension makes you feel that family and friends who came... More
