Went to tea/tour recently and got "Two for One" as the tea was at the adjacent Hotchkiss house and the tour was at Lillian Place. Wine and mimosas were available before tea. The "nibbles" were delicious and generous. The house is being restored with good taste. The tour of Lillian Place was more of a walk through. It also was... More

This is a beautiful Victorian home that's been restored right on the Intracoastal Waterway. The tour is interesting with lots of rare artifacts from the area. The grounds are well cared for and it was a nice to see the history of the area preserved. Definitely worth a stop...

Interesting stroll thru late 19th and early 20th century artifacts housed in a beautiful old home. Plenty of time to enjoy the ambience. Plan your day for for 2 hrs max. Guides are dedicated to preservation of the homestead and are knowledgeable and friendly.

Lillian Place is one of those rare gems, a lovely glimpse into the recent past of the US, showing what life was like only 100 years ago and how much has changed, for better and worse. The enthusiasm of the volunteers is infectious and their chatty tours bring the house alive with stories of those who lived in it.... well... More

We visited the Lillian Place House and enjoyed the tour. We love seeing these old homes and it was interesting to learn it's history. Most of the items in the home are not original to the home but are from the period. There's a nice story about the author Stephen Crane as well.

It's an excellent reminder of days gone by. The house is gorgeous and definitely worth a trip. They have an afternoon tea on some Tuesdays that is well worth the trip!

Lilian place is a nice change from the normal attractions in Daytona beach. The price is cheap and the tour was informative. My wife and I enjoy old houses and architecture so it was fun for us. They had some damage that occurred during hurricane Matthew but it looks like it's being fixed back up.

Lillian Place is a very special place! Dr. Nancy Long is responsible for saving and restoring this historic home. It is worth the time to stroll through this very special place.

I love old houses and enjoy the history associated with them. My cousin and I arrived at the time it was open, but as luck would have it, the usual tour guide had a family emergency and wasn't there. We were let in by a nice lady who had worked there for years, and we basically did a self-guided tour... More
