Beautiful Gardens

A rare treat in tropical south Florida. The gardens are well maintained and the shop and food are reasonably priced. A great place to take out of state visitors.

We spent 2 hours at this garden and the museum. It is not too big, yet it is quite well kept and has interesting paths, and gardens that really helped me reflect. I certainly recommend it.

While staying in Delray Beach saw the signs for the museum and decided to check it ou. I'm glad I did the Japanese garden is a hidden treasure. Great place to just unwind and have a family luncheon.

While not large it was a beautiful gem to your. Less than a mike of walking at a very gentle pace viewing the scenery and bird and water life. If you have the time don't miss it. There are about a hundred more photos on my Nikon😍

We have visited Morakami on two other occasions and had a delightful time. Unfortunately we visited yesterday during their annual New Year celebration and it was anything but tranquil. There were thousands of people, almost a hundred food and other vendors, unruly children, and a carnival type atmosphere. We should have not paid admission and left. The entire "celebration" was... At the end of the walk there is a sign which explains to visitors that this is not a "botanic" garden. Therefore, there are not many signs which explain what you are seeing. Instead, you are to experience the gardens, not learn there. OK. I just wish they had explained that at the beginning of the tour. If you are... More

Excellent afternoon at the Morikami Museum and gardens. We started our afternoon with lunch at the restaurant sitting outside overlooking the lake. The Bento boxes were very good. Then we toured the beautiful gardens enjoying a leisurely walk along well landscaped paths. Our only disappointment was that we discovered that there was an app for the museum and we could... More

This is the perfect place to spend a morning or an afternoon just strolling and enjoying the flowers. I have been several different times of the year and each time it has offered beautiful flowers, wildlife (amazing iguanas included) and a relaxing walk.
