What a spot! We have been coastline up and Down... Very impressive, State beach was pristine. No seaweed, no foam, wide and magnificent water colors! Mid January and great Temps. Baths clean and outdoor showers for sand. May stop with our Class A motorhome next time!

It is so wonderful to be able to go back to Destin and the time when I was a kid, and walk on the beach and see hardly anyone. Most places have been developed now, but the Henderson Park is now the island of nature in the middle of the condo capital of North Florida. If you want to know... More

This place is so romantic, it is beyond belief. I recommend it highly, and you will not regret it. Comfort, world-class cuisine served by really nice people, sand dunes, and the fabulous beach.

My kids and grandkids camped here and we would come to visit some. This place was kept cleaner than the condo my husband and I stayed in. The individual camping spots felt like your little home away from home. Bathrooms kept immaculate. And u were camping with a beautiful beach for your backyard. Nothing to improve upon except theres not... More

$6-per-car entry gets you sugar-sand beaches, well-maintained restrooms, signage about wildlife, and a clean place for family fun.

Henderson Beach State Park provides a beautiful glimpse of the Emerald Coast. The family enjoyed looking for shells and simply taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the gulf. I enjoyed a morning walk along the coast line and was even graced with the presence of dolphins one morning. Great area to visit and just get away!

We enjoyed walking the dunes, but this was a pretty small park for us to visit. The trail was very scenic with beautiful ocean views.

Our first visit to the Emerald Coast and Destin would not have been official without a walk along the beach. Staying in the south part of town, the closes beach access was just a stroll away from the park. Although we didn't venture off of the beach, I found it impressive that this park extended right to the water's edge.... More

Henderson Beach is the most beautiful and cleanest Beach we've visited thus far!! Every view was a postcard! The sand is sugary white and the water a vivid emerald green. The Beach was safe, well patrolled and maintained. Even the wildlife - seagulls etc were friendly. There is a 6.00 per person fee and the Beach is open till sunset. There... More
