We loved this park! We visited on a Friday in December and there were not many people there. If you have a bike, be sure to take the Osprey trail north to see the Great Horned Owl nest as well as Osprey and a Bald...More

Beautiful unspoiled beach inside nature preserve. Not for those who want the typical tourist experience. This is where the locals hang. Get there early and spend the day.

What a fantastic find just south of Tampa. Great place to spend the day at a beautiful beach. Plenty to offer for families with restrooms, bath house, changing rooms and concession stands that not only sells food but also adult beverages. The state park charges...More

I chose to spend two nights in Dunedin in between my previous night in Cedar Key and my next stop for a boat tour from Fernandina Beach. Since this island and the adjacent Caldesi Island were both rated highly, I first decided on seeing both....More

We took snack and water along with sturdy bags for the shells. Pay attention when the tide is out and you will find lots of neat shells.

This beautiful beach has many amenities and wasn't too crowded on thanksgiving week. We visited with our 20-something child, and she was invited to participate in volleyball with other young people. The sand is clean, and there are a couple of cafes, deck seating, clean...More

Was a lovely beach, but there were little midge size insects which bit me quite a few times. There's a charge to go on the island. We ordered sunset beach further up the coast,.

This beach is so large, you should be able to find a secluded spot. As you are looking at the water, head to your right. Try to get there early. There is a private dog park beach furthest to your left.
