This park is pure Florida. You can see loads of birds, otters, fish and turtles. You can swim, snorkel, kayak, canoe or tube on the river. Or just walk. Just lovely and peaceful.

I love rainbow springs, and the boat ride which is reasonable and entertaining. The singing Captain!. You will need to take your time and enjoy.

Tubing is closed from October through March. Perhaps because winter is when the manatees are in the area. But the website shows the swimming area at the head springs is open. I would call and check though to be sure. Hope... More
