Ziggy was welcome to walk with us through several miles of trails in old growth Florida pines and opening to the inland waterway in several places. A lovely area and smooth even trails. Saw bald eagles on several occasions and a great horned owl last month.

This is the most peaceful place to walk! You walk on trails and boardwalks for up to 3 miles. At times, you may view a snake, singing birds, even eagles. If you like to walk in a natural setting, this is your place.

Lemon Bay park is one of the nicest public parks I have been to. The trails are well maintained and the proximity to the water could not be better. I love that we have seen bald eagles, armadillos, gopher turtles and one really huge alligator all in the park.

I really enjoy this park. I had been there years ago when they were still putting it all together and went back today, and was so impressed with all they have done. It has been left in a very natural state with gravel or grassy trails most places, a kayak launch area, and best of all it is pet friendly... More

Beginner walking trails, pretty trees & scenic walk. Doable for most, even children. Quiet, unspoiled, and very few people.
