You can love this course for its beauty and well manicured fairways and greens or hate it for it’s challenging Jack Nicklaus signature design, this course is always a must play during my annual winter golf getaways. A traditional Jack Nicklaus course you need to think about how to play each hole and each shot to approach the green. If... More

For the resort golfer my only advice is bring plenty of balls. For everyone bring bug spray and lots of courage. Greens are fast and true but your reads will be challenged. A big thank you to Dennis for rushing me to the airport as I was cutting it close for a cab to come and get me. Staff are... More

Situated between Fort Myers and Naples, this golf club is well presented and would be highly desireable to the average golfer due to it's wide fairways and excellent greens. Due to it's location, also, it tends to be very quiet and thus not subject to pressure from extensive tee bookings. Restaurant and clubhouse are well above average and very friendly... More

This is a challenging Jack Nicklaus course. It fairly tests every aspect of your game. This is a course built for golf, not to sell houses. What is also special is the pristine Old Florida environment. Staff is professional and friendly. Enjoy.

Played with my son on a hot SW Florida day. The course was in excellent condition with challenges on almost every hole. This Nicklaus course will test even the best of players. I try to play this course at least once a year to give myself a true test of my game improvement. I would suggest to the average player... More

I really do hate (I know it's a strong word) Jack Nicklaus designs. His courses are gimmicky and some holes are just unplayable. Old Corkscrew is one of his most unplayable. Greens are ridiculous and the layout penalizing. Enough said.

This course is difficult and superbly designed. There are no homes on the course---its just golf. Severe greens of varying sizes. Excellent conditions. Much better enjoyed the second time round as shot placement is key to scoring. Kudos to Jack Nicklaus on this Signature course.

I spent 4 days here in May getting 1:1 lessons with Mary Mills from Bird Golf. Mary was absolutely fantastic and completely improved my game in every way. She customized the lessons just for me. I came away from the week with specific drills and videos that I have been practicing with. I have seen significant changes in how I... More

Played here back in October of 2014 on vacation via a Golf Now deal and raved about the experience to anyone who'd listen. Today (5/27/16) I returned with my 11 yr. old son (a solid Jr. golfer) on vacation to celebrate my 40th birthday and was very disappointed to be honest. The course itself has gone way downhill since that... More

This is truly my favorite course in the area. It is not an easy course by any means. I love to play the course in the summer when the prices are more my budget. Love the restaurant for a nice meal. I love the Angus burger and I am not a big meat eater.
