I camped in a tent at the beach sites in late January. The sites are clean and uncrowded. There are no trees so I'm sure it gets hot in the summer but it was perfect in January. There were no bugs, day or night. The beach was empty and unspoiled although there were rather permanent looking signs warning of rip... More

Fort Clinch has 2 campgrounds: one on the beach side and the other on the river side. The beach side is more big-rig friendly because it's more open and no trees to get in the way. But there are a few sites on the river side that can accommodate a big rig, just pay attention to the site description. We... More

What a great way to start your day. You can stand in Florida and look at Georgia. Enjoy the beaches ride your bike, fish, visit the fort in all of its history, or just have a picnic. Beautiful Florida secret state park.

Inexpensive, beautiful beaches and nature paths. In addition to the beaches, we also paid the $2 to tour the fort itself. Very interesting.

This is an awesome place! We stayed in The River area Campground and very site is beautiful. All river area sites are under the canopy of trees and just beautiful! The beach sites are nice but just a little too sunny when the weather is in the high 70's. We took our 3 Bichon pups and they loved the trails... More

Great piece of history! Loved that it was right on the ocean. Must see fort! We had no idea this existed! Such a huge fort and tons of canons! Kids will love!

We camped here for 4 days at an ocean side site. The park was beautiful and our site was terrific. The fort was quite interesting and well restored. A nice piece of preserved American history. A must see if in the area BObK

This is a great state park. Love the pier and beach area. I think it's the longest pier I have ever seen. It could be a possible illusion due to the way the beach runs along side of it. The fort is great also. If you are up for a venture walk around the perimeter of the Fort and make... More

Our walking club did a Saturday morning walk of the Fort's trails for 2.7 miles. Great day with lots of bikers and others visiting the fort.
