What a great little gem this place is, finding it was a little bit evasive but lots of parking, board walks, nature trails, very beauty we really enjoyed our visit!

We used ,the entrance in back of the library. Good parking. The boardwalk went thru a salt marsh with great views and It led to the intracoastal. Wear a hat - very sunny walk. . We walked the boardwalk to the opposite entrance under the bridge to increase the distance walked. That walk is not as pretty. Saw some egrets

It's relaxed, non-commercial, partly shady, and serene. Take binoculars for the birds - -there are usually herons, ibises, or egrets wading or flying near here. It's dog-friendly and has a total of about a mile of trail and boardwalk to meander above mangrove wetlands and along shoreline habitat near the inland waterway.

This boardwalk can be really enjoyable if you happen to see egrets, herons, maybe a turtle, etc., but it doesn't always occur. We've been here many times, but our experiences have varied. Mostly good. However, at times we've felt somewhat unsafe when 5 or 6 young guys are just hanging out together half way through the boardwalk or when an... More

Incredibly I never knew this preserve existed, despite residing 18 years within 10 miles. Other parks in Flagler County are more well known and experience heavier visitor traffic. You don't find Betty Steflik Preserve without looking for it. One entrance is actually underneath the vehicle bridge that spans the intracoastal waterway, and the other is on a residential street in... More

My dog Ellie and I walk the boardwalk that goes out into the intra-coastal waterway at Betty Steflik Preserve. It is the best walk in Flagler. We always see egrets, herons, and sometimes even pelicans flying over head. The boardwalk as four areas where people can rest and just soak up the sun or listen to the wind. The dock... More

The other day we visited the park and walked the boardwalk. This is a good place to take a relaxing stroll with a camera and pair of binoculars. We liked that there was a boardwalk from one side of the park to the other and extending out to the Halifax River. The walk itself is probably only 20-30 minutes but... More

Enjoyed this park although it was just too hot to walk the whole thing. I think this board walk must be fairly new as it was in great condition. Also a nice picnic park. there was a Birthday party going on while we were there. It is right next to the library, but a little hard to find.

Just happen to see a small sign to this preserve before going over the Flagler Beach bridge. A preserve going into the waterway of the intracoastal. Excellent park for nature lovers. Many different kinds of birds as well as possible alligator sightings. The great thing about this preserve is its FREE. If you are looking for a nice calming walk... More
