We enjoyed our walk down the Riverwalk, which was right out the back of our hotel. It parallels Las Olas Blvd. so you can make a little loop and see both. At one point there were some historical buildings in a little park like setting,...More

Great way to visit a part of Fort Lauderdale. Not very far from airport. Nice eating establishments.

The Riverwalk on Ft Lauderdales New River is interesting and entertaining. Boats are going by and restaurants are close at hand. Park your car and go for a walk.

Strolling along the riverside was very nice. Stopped and got a bite to eat and a refreshing drink. Also watched the bridge go up to let other boats get thru.

Enjoyable stroll through old neighborhood, abandoned shopping/entertainment plaza which leads from Theater and IMAX/Scieance museum to Las Olas Boulevard/Cheesecake Factory/Bonnet House and galleries/boutiques/restaurants. Some homeless but they don't seem to bother people. You can also board a free boat ride back and forth along the...More

The Riverwalk is a great place to walk around and look at all the fancy yachts coming and going. There are places to eat and other things to do as well. Don't be alarmed if you see a lot of iguanas hanging out. Just a...More

The Riverwalk bordering both sides of the New River is a nicely decorated area with trees and benches. There a number of restaurants in the apartments and condo complexes on the riverside. It is shady to protect from the sun and a few steps from...More

The Riverwalk is a ghost town of empty shops and restaurants. How they still have any tenants there is beyond me. This used to be a bustling, happening place to go with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. It was depressing...More

My family took a quiet walk on the riverwalk of Ft Lauderdale on a weekday afternoon. I was impressed with the yachts - I had read there were a lot of boats here, but this is a hugely concentration of large yachts. Parking was available...More

There was a time when Riverwalk was THE place to be in downtown Ft. Lauderdale with shops and restaurants galore. Now, while Rivierwalk is still a pleasant place to go to stroll along the New River, there aren't as many places to stop, shop or...More

I like to park behind the police station south of River Walk. I think it's like $1.25 an hour or so. Great place to sit by 3rd avenue bridge too

Not sure; There are bricks on the walkway everywhere with names on them. A great walk right to the end. Bring your camera and sit in the massive Adirondack Chair and have your picture taken. It's hilarious.
