We took a long walk through this park. There are kayak and bike rentals, picnic areas, playgrounds and is located along the intercoastal. You can also fish in certain areas.

Combine a visit here with a visit to Bonnet House, across Sunrise Blvd. and you'll have immersed yourself in Florida history from the late 1800s to the early and mid 1900s. A peaceful, beautiful place maintained as it was in its heyday, and well worth...More

We had a few hours before we had to get to the airport to fly home, so we decided to stop. Great tour through the grounds.

Thank god for the helpful rangers. We came to the park to find some geocaches. There were many located there. If you don't know much about geocaching it's a time of organized treasure hunting. Many of the hidden objects are placed with permission in wooded...More

Stayed nearby and I visited this park a few times, when I wanted to go biking and/or I didn't have anything else planned at the time. Very helpful and friendly park rangers

Park and take a stroll through what Florida used to look like. Kayaking and canoeing available. We picked up sandwiches at the near by Publix supermarket and went here to have a peaceful lunch along the waterway. Entry was only $6.

Yes, there are bike rentals at BG Coco Cafe. I can't post links here, but just search for their website, and they have pricing on there. You can also get a BCycle (Broward county bike sharing program) from across the street.
