surf, sand, showers and places to picnic!

Pay one fee, park your car, go to the beach, fish on the jetty, take a shower and wash off the sand and salt, then go each at a covered picnic area. Can't beat it!

The only downside to this park is that there is an entrance fee, but nominal for the value! It is beautiful, well kept and provides a unique experience on the inlet so you can experience the glorious Atlantic Ocean and the unique Indian River Lagoon. This is definitely a treasure of the Treasure Coast! Come, you'll be glad you did!

My family of four with two young kids recently visited Fort Pierce Inlet State Park while on a pre cruise vacation out of Port Canaveral. Fort Pierce was a short drive down the coast from Cocoa Beach and was well worth the visit. The beach area was pristine with soft sand and a nice clean beach area and my kids... More

Tarpon can often be seen here feeding on the massive bait balls that swim in and around the inlet. The fishing here is even quite exciting right from the shore. Great local surfing just north of the inlet with water so clear and clean, you would swear you are in the keys. I affectionately call this the keys of the... More

So this is a beach that actually has two sides to it. One side is on the ocean where you can swim, fish, surf or just play in the sand and lay around. The other side is on the inlet where you can also swim or swim across to the cove. There are pavilions with grills, bathrooms, trails ect. You... More

My friend and I recently had to visit Fort Pierce on business. While killing time at the Jetty Park my friend observed the Inlet State Park across the inlet. We drove to the State Park which has a six dollar per vehicle fee. We walked around for a while and I thought the park was very nice. There were lots... More

Fantastic improvements to this Inlet... jetty is paved and has numerous benches to watch the windsurfers and fishermen. The inlet side has fun 2 person swings facing the inlet.. free parking, free and clean bathrooms, picnic tables and grills. Lots of activitiy. Family friendly. LOVED IT!
