Third time here during the winter months and it’s pretty darn good. The roads and full hook up sites are packed sand and tend to hold rain water after it rains. Interior roads need to be filled in and smoothed out. I’m not a camper,...More

This campground is like a parking lot. There are no trees bushes or anything between the campsites. You have no shade or privacy while camping. The main trail has a sidewalk and is great for walking and biking. They are dog friendly and have a...More

This is a totally natural environment where you can spend the day or night for fees. You'll see animals who live in this habitat.

Staff refused to accept a camping reservation because my "camper" is a conversion van. No meaningful explanation was offered, just that a conversion van is not "RVAA certified" and is not allowed in the campground. I explained that a conversion van is not an RV,...More

We bike ride through the savanna Recreational Area, great walking and bike path, front row seat to nature, and maybe catching a look st the alligators basking in the sun, campers love it, and fisherman.

Sorry, but I have never hiked the trails. I have seen many others doing them, but truthfully there are not many little ones there when we are there in the wintertime.

You can make reservations by either calling or emailing. I don't know about the summer months, but in the wintertime the place is booked as far as a year in advance because it's very busy.
