Something lovely around every curve of the path

The plantings are beautiful -- I especially loved the Bonsai garden and the glass art. It's a perfect size for just an hour of wandering.

Beautiful gardens to spent an hour in. Well laid out and plants are labelled. The surprise was the Bonsai Gardens and water features. Artists were showing their paints in the gardens as well. Gift shop offered a wonderful variety of options.

We toured the gardens and were greatly impressed! It's a very tranquil environment that allows you to view Bonsai trees and flora in well maintained paths. Plenty of benches located throughout to sit and take in the atmosphere or sit in quiet meditation. One would never imagine its only a block away from busy traffic. It truly seems to be... More

The Heathcote Gardens were a nice manageable size for a short day trip. The glass art throughout the gardens were creative and added a real nice quirky quality. They were for sale also. The Bonsai display was beautiful and quite extensive. The gardens were more interactive and down to earth than a showcase garden. Some areas were in flux but... More

Right in the middle of Ft. Pierce is the Heathcote Botanical Gardens. It’s of the main road and initially looked quite small. We stopped on a slightly rainy day and had a wonderful talk with the admissions attendant who provide us with a map and recommended route to take through the gardens. We were impressed by the extensive bonsai displays,... More

We went for the first time to see the Christmas Lights. At $5 per person it is a very reasonable activity. I am in a wheelchair and although part of it is paved about half is not. That made it hard for my husband to shove me thru the dirt/leaves/sticks. That being said the lights were fun and we saw... More

Visited with family to see the Christmas lights and the Bonsai plants. We were not disappointed. They were very organized in getting all the cars into the parking area. Admission was very reasonable and well worth it. Lights were well done and made walking around the area very easy.

Our family visited Heathcote Botanical in December for the holiday light displays. What a wonderful way to spend the evening. Young to old, we all enjoyed the nighttime walk through the gardens. The light displays were enchanting. There was a live band playing Christmas & holiday tunes. Santa & Mrs. Claus were outside a decorated house. There was a fire... More

What a beautiful Garden(s). They are filled with mature well cared for plants of all varieties. The Christmas eve would be best to go, to see the lights, but you may lose out from seeing all the variety of plants. Lovely, peaceful indeed.
