Ichetucknee Springs State Park is a must if you enjoy pristine settings, refreshing clear, cool spring water, the float adventure combined with maybe swim and snorkel. The spring run can be done from the North entrance or South entrance. North entrance requires a shuttle from...More

We rented Kayaks from Paddling Adventures inside the park. The river is beautiful and clear, easy kayaking. We saw turtles, mullet and cranes along the ride. I would love to do the ride again when it is less crowded. Planning on doing one of the...More

We went here on a Friday afternoon. It was not too busy. It cost us $6 to get in and the girl working the South entrance gate was not to helpful when we were asking about where to go etc since it was our first...More

We visited the springs on a Tuesday the week before school started. Everyone warned us about the long lines, so we got there at 7:50 a.m. (10 minutes before opening). We were literally the second car in the park and we only saw about 50...More

I can't begin to remember all the times I've tubed the Ichetucknee, however, what I do know is that the river's ecology has improved dramatically in the past 30+ years I've been going. My congratulations on that. HOWEVER, with the substantial amount of visitors the...More

I'd never done the springs before, and my friend invited me to join her with her four nieces/nephews. We picked up tubes on the way, trekked the path to the spot to put in, and floated down to the exit. The kids (ages 8months -...More

This was my first time back to Ichetucknee since 1992. Back then I enjoyed it as a student, today I enjoyed it as a Dad with my family. My teenagers had as much fun as I did. We were sad when we woke up to...More

I have wanted to take this tubing trip for years! I finally got my chance on Wednesday. The park is 5 hours from my home so I piggy backed the trip on another trip I had to take to Orlando. From Orlando it was only...More

There are ladders to get into the water... or you can just jump :-). When you get to the takeout point, there are steps and shallow water so it's pretty easy to get out. Have fun!
