Looking to just get out of the house for a little while. We headed to the museum. It was free and a great way to spend sometime. We didn't do the butterflies or frogs exhibit today. We will come back another day and visit those.

I love that this museum is dedicated to natural history. As a fossil buff, I grestku appreciate the displays of ancient animals, as well as Florida early civilization and its artifacts. I highly recommend the flmnh.

We took our 3 year old grandson and he was entralled with all of the displays, especially the animals. He also had a good time in the fun zone for kids.

Visit was to kill some extra time and was better than we could have imagined. The cultural learnings of the area and native Indian culture was done nicely. The art was more about the work they do and of course the school art show was fun and entertaining. But most was the dinosaurs, or later evolutions of what it was... More

FLMNH is always a wonderful place to visit, and I have been there more than a dozen times. There are temporary exhibits and permanent favorites, such as the butterfly rain forest, the cave and great interpretations of Florida natural history. It is always a relaxing place to visit. My kids have enjoyed the museum from preschool through teenage years. The... More

Small in comparison with museums we've been to in larger cities but very well done, orderly, well-lit and informative signage. Some emphasis on the history, of Florida as well as the development of life forms through the ages. A pleasant and informative way to spend a few hours.

Thank Donald G
