Very much worth the price of admission to see the butterflies. Stick around for a "release" of the prior day's hatchings. The staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable, too.

this is a very beautiful, relaxing garden with butterflies all around you , tropical forest feeling. This is a part of the Florida Museum of NaturalHistory whinch changes topices often. Worth going to. The museum is free and the rainforest has a small fee.

As others have said, no, the exhibit is not protected from the rain. We also are required to close during lightning or heavy storms.

Yes, all Florida Museum exhibits are wheelchair accessible. The Butterfly Rainforest path was recently widened in some areas to improve access.
