The Univerity of Florida is a must visit when in the Gainsville area. Be sure to go by the swamp as the Gator football field is one of the best known in the country. Also the statues of the heismen trophy winners spurrier, and the rest are a must see. This is an 0ld campus and still carries the looks... More

Don't miss the Baughman Center, Lake Alice trails, or lovely garden. Super progressive campus with health promotion in mind, including physically, spiritually, and emotionally, in addition to academics and sports.

Maybe I'm biased because my daughter is a freshman at UF, but this is a really great school. Excellent education and a beautiful campus. What more can you ask for?

The university campus is very beautiful and has many interesting places to visit. Lake Alice is a great place to hike and look at the beautiful lake with many interesting animals like alligators and turtle. The nearby bat house is a great place to see about 300,000 bats flying out around sunset. Florida Museum of Natural History with the butterfly... More

This was our last stop for visiting colleges with my daughter. We didn't expect much going into it and we couldn't have been more wrong. The campus is HUGE but beautiful and well maintained. This was the only tour (all SEC schools) that let us in the football stadium. I liked that its open to the students to work out... More

Now that my son is attending the University of Florida, we have been traveling there quite a bit and I always love noticing how the campus has grown and changed over the years and how some parts of it still look almost the same.

Beautiful campus. Large so plan to spend at least an hour even if just driving through. Get out of your car and walk the campus to get the real feel.
