We attended a field trip with our homeschool group to this museum and it was amazing! The guides were so friendly and informative. The museum was well-organized with each war/time period's items displayed professionally. They made us feel welcomed and we felt that they genuinely enjoyed showing us around and answering questions. More people should visit this museum, it is... More

If you ever get to Green Cove Springs Florida, make sure you go and visit this museum. You will be surprised at all the items that they have on display. Then on the outside they have a nice collection of military vehicles. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Chris who is from England is very nice to talk too.... More

We googled and found this museum because our 7 year old son wanted to go to a military museum. We were BLOWN AWAY by how awesome this museum is and how absolutely WONDERFUL the volunteers are! John was the sweet, wonderful gentleman that took us on our tour of the museum. John took his time with our 7 year old... More

From the highway we first saw the huge wheeled landing craft used during the Vietnam War to carry supplies from ship to shore, including tanks and man is it huge! Then there is the massive Navy deck gun sitting next to the emergency escape boat that every sailor and passenger hopes they will never have to use. Just inside the... More

Being an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran, I've seen my share of brigade and division museums. The Military Museum of North Florida was so much beyond any expectations I could've had for such a small place. Around every corner, and tucked away in every available space, was every item imaginable dating back to the barbery wars through today's current conflicts. It... More

Loads of memorabilia and history in this museum. I must have driven past it 20 times before I actually went in. I'm so glad I did. It's worth the stop. There is a lot of information to take in. A must for any military enthusiast.

Great place to fall back in time and enjoy all the military facts. Several large vehicles and many small things to read and grasp what happen.

I am very impressed with this museum and the people who work there. It's located in a part of Green Cove that was once a Navy Base, and even though the museum is quite small it is very well done. The museum is set up in sections by wars and each section has some very interesting things to see. The... More

Lot's of military memorabilia inside and out. All US military services included. Starts with Revolutionary to modern times. I loaned a couple of items from my Dad and Grandfather's. Look for the WWI leggings on the manikin. They belonged to my Grandfather. Tours available and all free.
