We visited during the Scottish Games and there were various food carts set up. Prices were higher than I expected for this type of event, and not really to my taste.

Strawberry festival was just ok--it needs to be better organized and have more attractions if they are going to charge $7.00 to get in. Basically a few vendors, lots of food trucks and a playground for kids. You had to pay admission just to buy strawberries if you wanted them by the flat. They should be available outside the area... I absolutely love the Clay County Fair! There is so much to do and see! The wide variety of agriculture they have there that the kids in FFA and 4-H is surely something to see! The rides are always a good time and plenty of rides. The lines do get very long on the weekends so that is a down... More

This fair has something for all ages. We went on the first day this year and found out it was only $2 admission for the first hour and you got free rides for an hour. Rides were not as thrilling as at theme parks but were plenty thrilling for the young kids and us old folks. We did not go... More

This was a fun place...we traveled more than 40 miles on the last day of the Agri fair....great folks, great food great rides and overall a great country feeling which we miss every where else in Jacksonville FL. It is a shame it happens only once in a year ( the agri fair that is )...Clay is a vast and... More

Passing through where we used to live and saw the county fair was in session. Nothing had changed in fifteen years, except the prices were a lot higher.

My favorite time to visit the Fairgrounds are in early spring during the Clay County Fair. Loads of free parking and easy to get to.

This place has got to have the most friendliest people running their events. They go over and beyond to accommodate groups. I'm certain it is mostly volunteers as well but they were so cheerful and willing to help. I cannot praise this fairgrounds enough. If only the people in the surrounding community were as nice. They have all covered events,... More

Covered pavilions sheltered all activities. Just a couple miles out of Green Cove Springs and very good for events in all conditions.
