If you're into an easy quiet nature walk, not too far from people (and even with your dogs on a leash), take a quick break at Osgood Park and Clam Bayou Nature Park. If you come from 29th Avenue S, opposite the Gulfport Marina, park the car, walk the birding trail. You'll also find a Kayak access to the water... More

Stopped by for a walk before dinner. Very quiet place, well maintained. Beautiful at sunset. There are several paths to take. Each one leads to an open water view. There was no one there, so it was like our own private nature preserve.

There is a kayak ramp out into the bayou along with a few nature trails one with a pretty decent hill for Florida. The piers are in the process of being rebuilt but you can normally fish out on them and are great observation points for bird and wildlife observation.

I have been many times there.. better on sunset. Look for dolphins, rabbits, birds and once I saw a small alligator on the pond that ends after the small river.. I had no idea that this pond had alligators. Recently there is new paths and walking board that reaches the ocean.. Also its a good biking area.. Free, just park... More

We started our ride from Seminole City Park on the Pinellas Trail on our way to the Skyway Bridge trail. We detoured on to Clam Bayou Trail in Gulfport. The park and trails are very nice. It is also a nice place to kayak.

For my first solo excursion with my new kayak I picked Clam Bayou. What a wonderful choice it was. They have made many upgrades to the park including new rest rooms, parking, racks to unload you kayaks (or paddle boards!), a new launch dock and new bridges and viewing docks. I would recommend visiting close to high tide as some... More

I'm new to St. Petersburg and happened on this park while kayaking. What a cool little place. The boardwalk is all new and very nicely laid out. There is a floating dock where you can tie up your kayak and walk around the board walk. There is also a covered space for picnicking and restrooms/water nearby. Very nice and new... More

I was in Gulfport for their Tuesday Morning Market and decided to check out Clam Bayou. There was little signage on where to go so I just found a path and started walking. There were some areas with boardwalks where you could look out over the water. Unfortunately for me, I got to one of these dead ends, was not... More

This hidden little gem is St Petersburg's newest multi-million dollar park with miles of concrete biking and walking/running trails. They have a men's and women's restroom with indoor plumbing, docking for kayaks, and nature watching throughout. So much to see and do! I highly recommend checking out this park.

Clam Bayou is a nice little park to walk around with the dog. Lovely views from on top of the hill. Used to have more wildlife but the pollution from the sewage has driven off so many birds that used to live here. See the Osprey Nests on top of the poles. Nice to sit on the benches watch the...
