The feeling of nostalgia was an awesome experience and brought back a lot of memories for me. It was fun and very educational. I will definitely be back more than once as there is so much to see. I will also tell others about this museum and encourage them to visit for themselves.

I was pleasantly surprised to see just how great this museum is; truly a hidden gem. There is so much to look at and a lot of really great pieces, like an original Howdy Doody puppet and original costumes worn by the great comedians of the past. My tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and my whole group had a great time. Highly highly recommend it!!

This place is a hidden gem. Tony does a great job guiding people around and starting all the videos for them. He does not rush you and you go at your own speed. My favorite was the entire Whose on First routine. Plan on at least a couple of hours. You could spend days if you read everything. There is also a nice little gift shop.

We happened upon the museum and were delighted to find it so entertaining and informative. It was a “walk down memory lane” reading about and seeing photos and little live clips of the comediennes we’ve grown-up with, both past and present. Lucky us to visit the museum while Tony Belmont was there and who was a charming host (and a wealth of information.) You will not be disappointed to visit this gem of a museum.

The National Comedy Hall of Fame in Holiday, Florida is a great hidden gem located on US-19. As the official comedy hall of fame for the United States, it provides a look into the history of comedy (starting with the Greeks) through the 20th century to current times. The museum features great exhibits on the history of comedy on radio, the great women of comedy, current touring comedians, the comedy hall of fame recipients, and over 100 comedians of the 20th century. The museum also features a comedy theater, a list of 600 comedians, and an impressive digital library of comedy legends showcasing their film, movie, and recording credits. If you're looking for a great museum about comedy and happen to be in the Tampa area, come take a trip through comedy history at the National Comedy Hall of Fame in Holiday.

The museum is not very big BUT the "comedy" items that are on display bring back so many childhood memories. We watch the original footage of a very popular Abbot and Castello skit called "Who's on first?..." There were a total of 7 of us watching the clip and we all were laughing so hard. What a great experience. Do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful museum. You will be glad you did.

Absolutely wonderful and brought back many memories. What a display of information. And seeing the Abbot and Castello video "Who is on First" was great and still so funny! And there was so much more that I will be going back as will my 4 friends. this is about 20 minutes from Clearwater on 19N Go, it is really good and worthwhile to see!

What a gem of a museum! I think we were the only visitors that day so Tony Belmont gave us a personalized tour. He's got some great artifacts and is a wealth of knowledge about all things comedy. Really enjoyed our tour. My favorite part was seeing the entire Who's On First skit. Laugh so much every time!

I was so happy to find this diamond in the rough. Tony, the curator, spent a lot of time telling us personal stories about interviewing many of the comedians. The museum is well stocked with videos, pictures, and other memorabelia,. I highly recommend a visit to museum. While some people can spend 1 to 2 hours, my husband, cousin and I were so entertained that we were there from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m. and could have stayed longer if we didn't have other plans. We enjoyed every video and reading all the background information we were unaware of. Thanks for the memories.
