Been here several times. It is always peaceful and relaxing. We have walked the trails several times and taken our dog several times. Go uptake tower and look out onto the water.

Lots of good trails AND....one of them takes you directly to the Gulf of Mexico!! Shuffle your feet if you get in though, there are stingrays in the water.

We arrived at 5:30pm and signs said the park closed at 6:30. It was just the right amount of time to walk all of the trails in the park, climb the observation tower, take the trail and boardwalk to Anclote Gulf Park and get in...More

If you're looking for a quick nature walk this is a nice place to visit. There a couple options of trails that will lead you to the water. They also have a look out tower. It's a good place to bring your children or dog...More

Love the tower and boardwalk. Lot cooler under trees. Nice wide paths and saw a lot of turtles. Was not real busy so it was nice and quiet.

This is a great place to visit - it has great nature trails and plenty of wildlife to see along with seeing the dolphins come in around sunset. This is a great place and pet friendly

It's a nice wooden park with a good Sandy walk way through you can walk your dog go down by the water there's an observation tower in a Beach area the dogs can play on. Pretty nice thing to do on a pretty afternoon.

We have a Shih Tzu that we let off lease in the park. I always watch for others so that he does not bother them. I see a lot of dogs off lease. Hope this helps..

Yes, they are to be on leash, but see a lot of them off, including us. I just make sure he does not bother others.
