Not to be confused with the adjacent Riverbend Park which is 10 times the size of the Battlefield Park. Great for hiking, biking, kayaking, horse riding. Yes, it is the place of the actual bloody battles of the Seminole war.

This park has lots going on construction-wise, but in a few months it will be well worth the wait. Horse trails, bike trails, fishing, kayaking...this park is a great community park!

Lots of wide open spaces. Hiking trails and canoeing (rentals available). Check the schedule for battle field tours and re-enactments.

My recall is if you took every trail maybe 10 miles......maybe. Most are short and well marked. They are very easy hikes. Flat and level.
