The Amelia River Golf Club consists of 18 challenging holes where ball control and accuracy are key to a great round. The par 72 layout, that opened in 2000, gives the golfer a natural low country feel as the course winds through native water oaks, palmettos and southern pines. One of the most fun and enjoyable courses in Northeast Florida and always in pristine condition! Enjoy all of the convenience and value of a community golf club without the high monthly cost and long term commitment of a private club. Simply the best golf club value on Amelia Island!

As a Yankee not having played since fall, the Course was a comfortable start. The course is well conditioned with a conveniently located range. Very limited water challenges (a deep ravine crossing three holes). This is a course that can be enjoyed by casual golfers, but perhaps is not challenging for better golfers.

We visited the week after Hurricane Matthew and had a very nice group rate. The staff at Amelia River was very helpful but we had only the back nine to play because of heavy tree damage on the front nine. The back nine was very beautiful and in surprisingly good shape despite the hurricane. It's a shame we could not... More

Played here on the recommendation of a friend. Not long but still challenging. Great staff. Everyone is very friendly. Greens were good. Would play again.

My husband plays this course every time we are on the Island. I have rode along with him but never played. I decided to play this time. I'm a beginner at golf but I loved this course. The staff are super nice. We also saw our friendly Gator 🐊 We see every time we go. GREAT Course.

I played on Oct. 30th, 2015. The course was in great shape. The greens were outstanding, and the views were beautiful, The group I played with had a grand time, but I left my nine iron on the 18th green. Didn't play again until late Nov. So I called Pro shop, and sure enough someone turned it in, They still... More

I wish I had played when I was playing my A game. That being said, it is a pretty fair course, plenty of ways of getting in trouble but in no way impossible. The greens were fast but true, and the traps were fantastic. (I was in them way too much). Just as good as most of the other courses... More

I was expecting better. At this time of year, you can pay $105 to play the Club at Amelia Island at the Ritz after 1pm. Wish we had done that instead. This course was very basic, runs along the runway of the airport, so not very attractive. Cart paths need major improvement.

With all the famous courses in the area some don't check out this one. Do it! It's really nice & beautiful! Well maintained & challenging. Lots of sand & water, but fair. We played on a weekday & finished in 3 hours!

My wife and I played a late Saturday round of golf. From the beginning the staff was far nicer than you would usually encounter. The bag drop had two pretty girls rather than the typical grumpy retired man. They were very nice, and when we finished the round wiped down all of our club, even the ones with head covers... More
