Great public beach and the best within Miami if your not into South Beach scene. Weekends are busy and weekdays are quiet. Go there if your looking for a nice south Florida beach day.

Peacocks, Sandhill Cranes, Alligators, songbirds, ducks, walking trails, biking trails, facilities, beach access...etc., etc. Who could ask for more from a park?!?
