I did two dives at the Benwood, and I wasn't overwhelmed. To be fair, the conditions weren't excellent, and that may have affected the dive.

Saw some huge barracuda, a sea turtle, many schools of fish, too many kinds to count. Relatively easy for new divers to navigate, since it is well-defined, and so much wildlife to see that the dive goes by very quickly.

Saw lots of fish, many turtles and eels. Bioluminescence. Can't get lost. If you can see the wreck you know where you are. Highly recommend.

We dove the Benwood after the Spiegel Grove. Nice and shallow, lots of fish and marine life. Gave me a great opportunity to practice with my new camera.

This was our first time diving the Benwood. The wreck was neat. Lots of life and history there. I would recommend this for newer open water divers.

Went out with Ocean Divers on a boat with the whole family. Two of us dove and three snorkeled. The vis was a little poor due to the storms but overall a great shallow wreck that my Junior Open Water Diver got to see.

Dove the Benwood on a recent rip and was very impressed with the site. A very nice , well-preserved wreck site with much of the structure still intac

We loved this spot because we saw sharks. The water is deep and the chances of seeing large animals is good.
