Nice wreck for beginners

This is a very old wreck that is in shallow water. This makes it easy for beginning divers to experience the bones of a ship that lost its way in the keys many years ago.

This was my first experience with a wreck, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time I would like to have a flashlight so that I can look into some of the dark spaces. I did hear another person on the boat grumbling that it wasn't all that great, so maybe more experienced divers won't like it all that much, but... More

This is a great wreck to dive. It isn't all intact, like many other wrecks but there are a lot of nooks and crannies to look in. With it being so shallow, for a wreck, you can see a lot of it but, if you're looking in the hidden areas, you'll need a few trips to see it all. There... More

The Benwood is shallow, 25 to 40 feet. A nice wreak to start on, it doesn't have any real dangerous parts to it.

The Benwood is in shallow waters and little more than a debris field. It is a nice reef for aquatic life but not very interesting to me as a diver. Go beyond the bow 200 yards and the reef gets interesting. Ask a local divemaster to take you to the elevator.

Diving in this wreck was one of my best experience so far. No currents, a lot of marine life and easy to get orientations.

One of my over all top dives! I dived major wrecks such as Zenobia and Thistlegrom. If you are looking for "wreck" or hug ship then this dive does not have much to offer. However it does offer nice sea life and a variety of sea creatures (fishes and turtles)

We dove here with Ocean Divers. Nice wreck to check out. The wildlife and coral on this reef are amazing. Not much as far as a wreck, except for the growth. So much to see, we would definitely go back again to see more of it.
