This half-mile-long, crescent-shaped patch reef is an interesting dive site since it is highly developed and similar to those of most outer bank reefs in the Key Largo area.

Snorkeled here on a tour from Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Lots of barracuda, colorful fish and a lone shark.

Shallow, interesting reef, a really nice reef to snorkel. Very good condition even after the hurricane which did not cause major damage on it. Colorful soft corals, sea fans, sergeant major fish groups, many parrotfish, barrakudas, we even spotted a nurse shark. For more photos...More

This is a very colorful and active reef. It can be very shallow dependent on the timing of the tide. There are bigger critters to see if you work the edge to get into deeper water. In the shallows you may want to inflate your...More

We went snorkeling here in December and could see several types of fish. The rocks are visible during low tide. We went during high tide and they were completely submerged. Many barracuda were nearby here.

We went a snorkel trip to Christ of the Deep and Grecian Rocks. Christ of the Deep is in deeper water and Grecian Rocks is a shallow location. Both sites have plenty of fish and beautiful Coral Reefs.

We took a snorkeling trip through John Pennecamp Park for $29/per person (if you need to rent snorkeling gear it's a little extra). The boat ride is about 15 minutes out to the reef and is a pretty gentle ride through mangroves and some open...More

This is my favorite place to snorkel in the Keys. You can only access by boat, but it is so worth any extra effort. If you do not have a boat, your options include renting a boat or going on a snorkeling tour boat (many...More

We participated in a snorkel tour with pennekamp during our recent visit to Florida. Our trip took us to Grecian rock. The marine life was interesting! The coral was not as colorful as another area I snorkelled in at pennekamp when I was a teen....More

Visited here twice with Pennekamp park. Loved every minute of it. Would be great if you had a boat of your own and knew how to get there. Wonderful snorkel with eagle rays and other fish.

Grecian rocks is many miles off shore. You have to take a boat out to it.
