Lots of fun artists and musicians around Mallory Square. Obviously it's a great place to see the sunset. Food and drink are more expensive there than other places in Key West...but everyone should experience the Sunset Celebration once in their lives.

Gotta go here. Go early if you want a place to sit on the wall. Lots of standing room though. Go see the varied performers...it's free, but I am sure they appreciate tips.

What a neat little area to go to. So many cute little shops and to walk out on the square and look out at the water was so relaxing.

We have been to KW many times but now that the cruise ships come regularly you have to watch this end of town. We got caught in quite a crowd one day. It's crowded anyway but with a ship in town, watch out!

We came here during the day and at night for some sunset celebrations. Both times we came for the sunset it was cloudy, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Once the sun had set there are still activities to do and shops to visit.

What is Mallory Square? Is it a shopping area? What is special about it?

It's a gathering point to watch the sunset. There are street performers, my favorite is a Key West local who trained cats to jump through burning hoops and walk on a tight rope and arts and craft vendors.
